Ocutouch 3.1 Upgrade

Upgrade to Ocutouch 3.1 to further improve your ability to educate patients in a timely manner. With product improvements in all areas of the program as well as new content aimed at increasing education and product awareness, Ocutouch gives you the flexibility that you need throughout your practice.

Enhanced Waiting Room Section—Including Custom Content

The Waiting Room Section now features enhanced play list functionality—giving you the ability to add and arrange 23 built-in medical and optical narratives as well as your own custom multimedia content. Since the play list is saved, once you’ve built one you like, continue to use it each and every day.

Select your own custom audio and video files elsewhere on your computer and integrate them directly with the Ocutouch content you wish to show. Custom content is supported on Windows XP and newer.

9 New Optical Narratives

Utilizing the exemplary content found in the Optical Dispensing Assistant, nine new optical narratives have been introduced. These topics quickly increase the patient’s product awareness so that he or she can make an informed decision about different lens and coating types. Select them directly in the Optical section or even add them to your Waiting Room play list!

Contact Lens Training Tool

Save time by educating patients about contact lens care, insertion, and removal through the intuitive training tool. Let the patient watch the narrative segment from start to finish and then answer specific questions or stress specific points by quickly jumping to the area you desire.

Drawing Toolbar

Bring up an intuitive and easy-to-use drawing toolbar anywhere in the program to quickly annotate an illustration for a patient or colleague. With six colors, three pens, and undo functionality, you can easily get your point across.

Interactive Corneal Molding Topic

Utilize the new Corneal Molding topic to quickly educate patients about the custom corneal molding procedure. Illustrate what the patient is currently experiencing, how the procedure is performed and how vision is corrected.

Interactive IOL Topic

Use the greatly enhanced IOL topic to explain different intraocular lens types to your patient. Compare and contrast their sizes and shapes as well as their refractions. The IOL topic rounds out the already extensive Refractive Surgery section to give you all of the functionality that you need.

Unique Wildlife Narrative Introductions

Add pizzazz to the new Optical narratives by enabling the eye-catching wildlife narrative introductions by artist Stephen F. Gordon. These beautiful animations will definitely raise your patients’ heads from their magazines so they can learn more about the topics that you select.

Mirrored Display

Quickly mirror the display horizontally so that you can use Ocutouch on an existing visual acuity computer without an expensive and complicated graphics card upgrade.

Persistent Settings

Don’t worry about your settings and customizations being lost the next time you run Ocutouch since they are all saved between uses. Build your Waiting Room play list once and continue to use it every day. Save your audio settings in the Narratives and Optical sections for subsequent use.

Keyboard Functionality

For Power Users, Ocutouch now supports much-needed keyboard shortcuts to quickly switch to other programs or to exit Ocutouch. Press Alt-Tab to switch to another program or Alt-F4 to quickly exit.

Secondary Monitor Support

Ocutouch can be easily switched between a primary and secondary display.
